The following requirements must be met for successful connection to the MHC residential network:
  • Impulse Safe-Connect Policy Key installed and running
  • Valid Anit-Virus Application installed, updated and running
  • Microsoft Windows Defender Anti-Spyware installed and running
  • LavaSoft Ad-Aware
  • Spy-Bot Search and Destroy

 

Because of different Policy Keys for Windows XP and Vista we no longer offer direct download of the Policy Key or the Combo Setup application.

Once your computer is connected to the network you will be prompted to install the correct Policy Key for your Operating System.

If you are running Windows Vista and are experiencing problems, such as being repeatedly prompted to install the Policy Key, you may need to uninstall the Policy Key using the Control Panel. Once it is removed open Internet Explorer and reinstalling once you are prompted again.
 
 

Anti Virus.
Approved Anti-Virus Applications
The following anti-virus vendors are approved for use on the MHC network:

Supported anti-virus applications are dependant on an outside vendor. While our vendor makes every effort to support a wide range of anti-virus software some are not supported.

We do not have control over the supported anti-virus applications and cannot add to the above list!

You must have one of the above anti-virus applications installed, updated and running.

 

If you do not have an anti-virus application you may download a free version of Grisoft AVG 8 Anti-Virus here:

Instructions:

  1. Download the AVG Free Version 8 installation file to your computer (remember where you save the file).
  2. Once the download is complete, locate the file and double click to execute it.
  3. Follow the prompts to install AVG Free Version 8.
  4. Once the application is installed it may prompt you to restart your computer.
  5. Be sure to let AVG Free Version 8 perform an update and full scan after the installation.

(MHC will not provide support for your anti-virus application)

 
 

 

AdAware 2008 Download.

 Instructions:

  1. Download the aaw2008.exe installation file to your computer (remember where you save the file).
  2. Once the download is complete, locate the file and double click to execute it.
  3. Follow the prompts to install AdAware 2008.
  4. Once the application is installed it may prompt you to restart your computer.
  5. Be sure to let AdAware perform an update after the installation.
 


 

SpyBot Search & Destroy 1.6 Download.

  1. Download the spybotsd160.exe installation file to your computer (remember where you save the file)..
  2. Once the download is complete, locate the file and double click to execute it.
  3. Follow the prompts to install SpyBot Search and Destroy.
  4. Once the application is installed it may prompt you to restart your computer.
  5. Be sure to let SpyBot Search and Destroy perform an update after the installation.
 

 

Windows Defender Anti Spyware.
