How to correct errors when starting Outlook Corporate after upgrading to AVG 7.0

 

Close Outlook and any running applications before you start this process.

 

Click the Start button at the lower left of your screen and select Run

 

Enter Q:\AVG7-Client-Install\Setup\avgsetup.exe into the Open input box and click OK

 

 

In a few seconds the AVG 7.0 installation will begin. You will see this window:

 

 

Leave the language as English and click Next>

 

 

 

 

You will now see the Licensing Agreement window.

 

 

Click Accept to accept the Licensing Agreement.

 


The AVG 7.0 installation will check your system status. After this is complete you will see this window:

 

Select “Repair installation” and then click Next>

        !!BE SURE REPAIR INSTALLATION IS SELECTED!!

 


If you see this window you must close any applications listed. Then click Next>

 

 

The AVG 7.0 installer will start and reinstall any missing or corrupted files. You will see this window while that process is taking place:

 

 

When the repair is done you will see this window:

 

 

Press OK to exit the installer. Depending on what was repaired the installer may instruct you to restart your system. If a restart is required please do so at this time.

 

Microsoft Outlook should now function without any errors.
